About the role

A Dublin 11 based company specialising in solar energy solutions is seeking an experienced and driven Head of Operations to join its leadership team. This is a full-time, office-based role suited to a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving operational efficiency in a construction, trades or solar-related business. The ideal candidate will have played a key role in scaling a business from start-up to growth stage, with the ability to implement and oversee robust operational processes that support company-wide development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations to ensure business efficiency and high service standards Design and implement operational processes to support scaling
• Manage cross-functional teams and delegate effectively Collaborate with senior leadership to support strategic goals
• Drive performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives Maintain strong lines of communication across all departments
• Oversee use and integration of IT and CRM systems to optimise workflow Ensure compliance with health & safety and industry regulations

Candidate Requirements:

• 3–5 years’ experience in a Head of Operations role within construction, trades, or solar industry
• Proven experience in scaling operations within a start-up or early-stage business.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills
• Strong delegation skills with the ability to manage teams and workflows effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM system knowledge highly preferred Strong organisational and decision-making skills
• Strategic mindset with hands-on ability
