Overview:
Our busy Dublin 22 hotel is looking for a detail-oriented and friendly Reservations Agent to support our bookings department. This customer-facing role is essential to delivering seamless reservation experiences for our guests, both over the phone and online.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to reservation enquiries via phone, email, and third-party platforms
Process individual and group bookings accurately
Maximise room occupancy and revenue through effective selling techniques
Update booking systems and records in real-time
Liaise with reception and sales departments to ensure smooth guest experience
Handle special requests and last-minute changes efficiently
Requirements:
Previous experience in reservations or front office preferred
Strong communication and IT skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Confident telephone manner and professional email etiquette
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
Strong command of the Hotsoft Property Management System is essential
