Summary

The Electrical Engineer (Consultant) will provide technical electrical design support for a new Process Area CAPEX project, while also assisting with smaller projects and operational activities on site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Designing and maintaining LV systems (e.g., lighting, general services, UPS, protection settings including arc flash) and ELV systems (e.g., fire alarm, data points, building automation). Managing small projects relating to electrical infrastructure and associated systems. Supporting design reviews, site acceptance activities, and the installation of electrical equipment. Preparing and maintaining electrical drawings, schematics, and associated documentation. Specifying cGMP electrical and instrumentation (E&I) equipment and process control elements. Managing electrical systems that interface with or reside on the business IT network. Supporting the validation department through preparation of design documentation and assistance with protocol execution. Assisting with investigations into equipment and control system anomalies, including power quality issues. Preparing engineering evaluations and executing modification change control documentation. Supervising electrical contractors and verifying that all works meet the required quality standards. Preparing risk assessments, method statements, and documentation related to all aspects of site health and safety. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by enforcing relevant procedures, policies, and regulations. Upholding company standards by ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, policies, and regulations.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. A minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience Job Type: Fixed term
