About the Role
Our client, a renowned and highly regarded hotel in Dublin 22, is looking for an experienced Breakfast Chef to oversee the preparation and service of the hotel’s breakfast offering. This role is ideal for a chef who enjoys early shifts, takes pride in creating high-quality dishes, and wants to be part of a supportive kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

• Breakfast Preparation & Service: Prepare and cook all breakfast items to a consistently high standard, ensuring timely service for guests.
• Menu Management: Assist with planning, updating, and improving the breakfast menu in line with guest feedback and seasonal ingredients.
• Organisation: Set up and break down the breakfast section, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment at all times.
• Stock Control: Monitor stock levels for breakfast service, ensuring sufficient ingredients are available and minimising waste.
• Compliance: Adhere to food hygiene and safety regulations, maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness and food handling.
• Teamwork: Work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and kitchen team to ensure seamless operations and smooth transition to lunch service.
• Guest Focus: Ensure the presentation and quality of all breakfast dishes enhance the guest experience.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar role within a high-quality hotel or restaurant.
• Strong culinary skills with an eye for detail and consistency.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, particularly for early morning service.
• Up-to-date knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (a valid Food Hygiene Certificate is advantageous).
• A positive, team-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
• Passion for providing an exceptional start to each guest’s day.
