Overview
Our client, a reputable electrical and renewable energy company based in North Dublin, is seeking a motivated 3rd Year Apprentice Electrician to join their expanding team. This position offers hands-on experience across domestic, commercial, and renewable energy projects, with strong opportunities for continued development.
Key Responsibilities
Assist qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in accordance with current regulations. Support the installation and commissioning of solar PV systems on residential and commercial sites. Carry out fault-finding activities under supervision. Maintain a tidy, safe, and organised work environment. Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times. Record job details, materials, and site observations accurately.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Registered as a 3rd Year Apprentice Electrician with SOLAS or an equivalent recognised apprenticeship programme. Sound understanding of electrical principles, safe working practices, and industry standards. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and progress.
Preferred Experience & Attributes
Previous experience with solar PV installation or a genuine interest in renewable technologies. Full, clean driving licence (preferred but not essential). Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Reliable, punctual, and committed to a career in the electrical trade. What’s on Offer
